- My friend has an MTEC '020 board for the A500 with a 4MB simm... when I
- connected my GVP Impact Series II with 2MB and 100MB HD to his A500 with
- the '020, it refused to boot at all, freezing during the white-screen boot
- process. After much troubleshooting, we found out that the addresses of
- the memory on the HD and the '020 board did not conflict... so we tried
- setting the jumpers on the HD board for the new amount of expansion
- memory (6 MB) to no avail. I am interested in buying an M-TEC '020
- board, but now I'm not sure, unless I'd be able to use a 4MB simm with it
- and the hard drive. Anyone know how to get around this?
